In-House Sales Recruiter

Location: London

Job description

You will be responsible for directly sourcing sales and client management candidates across all AN sites, focusing on the right number and quality of recruits. Sourcing primarily through networking and use of web resources, but also managing the use of agencies where necessary.

Main responsibilities

Direct recruits

  • Strong focus on sourcing passive candidates through networking, cold calling, internet searches and research
  • Source active candidates from on-line databases, contact lists, internal databases and employee referrals
  • Act as a search expert for sales area(s) by understanding hiring needs, position specifications and search requirements
  • Proactively conduct research and investigate new ideas to create innovative sourcing strategies
  • Screen candidates for availability, interest level, salary range, relocation needs and general job skills
  • Track candidates identified through networking and work with directors/managers to ensure appropriate contact is maintained
  • Keeping the Recruitment Manager abreast of packages offered by AN’s competition in order to help keep us in line with market rates
  • To undertake ad hoc networking projects as required

Agencies

  • Partner with recruiters to generate ideas, leverage resources and share information that facilitates an effective search process
  • Screening CVs through matching to job specs

Candidates

  • Conducting telephone interviews, and role plays and managing the feedback and offer process
  • Providing adequate feedback to all both successful and unsuccessful applicants
  • Coordination and set up of interviews
    • Booking all meeting rooms
    • Using outlook to send out meeting confirmation to managers
    • Sending out email confirmation for direct candidates

Administration

  • Set up and management of files for each new role
  • Keeping up to date and accurate records of all recruitment activities on the in-house system

Person criteria

Essential

  • Experience of working in a sales recruitment environment, either agency or in-house
  • Ability to build credibility with sales people at all levels
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Strong time management, empathy and problem solving skills
  • Good interpersonal/rapport building skills
  • Proactive approach to all areas of work

Preferred

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
